Multi stage online shear mxier with castor

movable online continuous mxier can be designed into single stage, dual stage, three stage, or multi stage based on the emulsion processing requst. Movable Multi stage emulsifier can be used to increase the shear and mixing effect as well as shorten the emulsion processing time. The movable base allowed users move the online mixer anywhere in the workshop.

Multi-stage Sanitary online continuous Mixer/Emulsifier is designed as high speed, high shear mixer and emulsifier for emulsion processing. Constructed of SS304 / SS316L, Inline shear mixer is mainly composed of internal rotor-stator, housing, shafting, motor and base. Water cooling unit, powder hopper, circulation pipeline and trolley are optional.

The unique designed rotor-stator assembly provide optimal throughout and flow. In addition, the shear rates generated ensure droplet and particles size reduction down to 5μm with excellent distribution.

Application

Single Stage movable online mixers are mainly used in the aseptic process in dairy, beverage, pet food, flavor emulsions such as ketchup, salad dressing, mayonnaise, daily chemical such as facial cream, lotion and pharmaceutical processing.

why choose a 3 stage inline shear mixer?

Emulsification is rarely a spontaneous process, and requires the input of energy. This energy usually comes from mechanical shear provided by various types of mixers, and the final droplet size of the emulsion is dependent on not only the chemistry but also the amount of energy applied. usually, a 5.5kw motor offer more engery than a 3kw motor. and 3 stage inline mixer will offer better emulsifying effect and smaller droplet size than single stage inline mixer.

In order to make smaller droplets, higher shear is generally required. High shear rotor-stator mixers are commonly used.

These operate by pumping the emulsion phases through the narrow gap between a perforated cylinder (the stator) and the blades of a rapidly rotating stirrer housed inside it (the rotor) where the forces are sufficient to make droplets as small as around 1 μm.

Stainless steel hopper

a stainless steel hopper with about 10 to 15 liter capacity is widely used on movable and unmovable inline mixers. Powder and liquid will be "sucked" into the inline mixer together with water during the working process of the continuous high shear mixer.

a hopper usually installed on the emulsion inlet port on the inline mixer.

A circulation pipe is a better choise together with the hopper.

Circulation pipe

It is always a good idea to use a circulation pipe together with the stainless steel hopper for on inline mixer. Circulation pipe usually installed on the emulsion outlet port with clamp fittings and valves.

Emlsuion goes into the pump housing, passes through the rotor-stator head, and get into the hopper though circulation pipe, and flow into the emulsifying pump housing again. Such circulation can be used for powder water mixing and solutions with particles. Its a high effiency accessories wich can readce the working time and minnise the waste during emulsion processing.

Sight galssa sight glass on a inline mixer will show you the e,ulsifying process directly. It is a good idea to add a sight glass on a in line shear mixer / emulsifying pump especially when theit is used for liquid with powder or solid particles. Usually a sight glass will be installed on the emlsion inlet port of a inline mxier.
